Our Angels

All of our caregivers are qualified, experienced, and dedicated

Celtic Angels puts tremendous emphasis on the intangible traits of our caregivers. These traits include having a strong desire to help people, being caring and loving and also having a family experience of caring for a loved one. All of our caregivers have extensive work experience and qualifications that are associated with home health care.

Celtic Angels Altina Costa Pereira

I’m Altina Costa Pereira. I’m originally from Brazil. As the weekend “On Call ‘supervisor for Celtic Angels, my duties include checking in on all the caregivers and their schedules to make sure they have what they need to report to their respective client locations, on time with the right tools. I make sure they manage their record keeping properly and most importantly, if any of them have a personal or family emergency and cannot report for their shift, my role is to ensure we have an alternate caregiver to cover the shift.

Altina has been working in this new capacity since 2021. She actually joined us back in July 2014 as a caregiver and has been a core member of our “Celtic Angels” family ever since. Prior to joining us, she worked as a nursing assistant and caregiver herself. Her core competency was providing care for people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
